Parsons Art Market

On December 02, 2023, Parsons students from Illustration, Fine Arts, Strategic Design, Integrated Design, and Fashion Design majors will showcase their work at our Parsons Art Market hosted by Art-to-Ware located inside of the Port Authority Bus Terminal.

Thanks to Art-to-Ware for collaborating with us on the venue and feasibility of our event!

To gain interest in our event we used physical posters and fliers posted in neighborhoods spanning Manhattan, Brooklyn, and the Bronx, as well as a social media campaign and online event listings.

The night ended up being cold and drizzly, but our event was a complete success. All of our 17 participating artists made a profit, Art-to-Ware made a profit, and the Artist Party seemed to bring a lot of people in. A few families found the event listing online and came with children who wanted to go to Parsons, and wanted to meet Parsons students. We had one New York Times photographer who end up coming to take photos of the night.
