Amidst the growing pains of the social media age, the climate crisis, and the polarity of the American Democracy, I have found the most answers seem to already exist. American history remains in a strange dichotomy between mass manufacturing and the maintained right of land based practices such as hunting, trapping, and fishing. As the cost of living has risen, consumption levels have risen as well, and the more we feel the effects of this, the more we will continue to seek out solutions. I don’t believe the solutions to our environmental nor socioeconomic issues will be solved by another company. I believe it will be solved by a change of mindset, a revaluation of success, or simply remembering that historically, systems before capitalism have worked to maintain and sustain human kind.
